2019 - 2022

MOMENTUM aims at developing a set of new data analysis methods, transport models and planning support tools to capture the impact of new transport options on the urban mobility ecosystem, in order to support cities in the task of designing the right policy mix to exploit the full potential of these emerging mobility solutions.

Big Data for Public Transport aims to develop a new technology able to process data collected from smart payment systems and combine it with other data sources in order to analyse travel behaviour, generate mobility indicators and assist public transport authorities and operators in the planning of public transport systems.

DSS4SM (Decision Support Systems For Shared Mobility) is a research project co-funded by the Madrid Regional Government and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project aims to develop a decision support tool to help shared mobility service providers to plan and manage the operation of their services.

INSIGHT aims to investigate how ICT, with particular focus on data science and complexity theory, can help European cities formulate and evaluate policies to stimulate a balanced economic recovery and a sustainable urban development.

2012 - 2014

EUNOIA is a research project funded under the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme. EUNOIA sought to take advantage of the opportunities brought by smart city technologies and the most recent advances in complex systems science to develop new urban models and ICT tools empowering city governments and their citizens to design better mobility policies.
