Taking advantage of the roaming-in and roaming-out data collected by mobile network operators, we used Nommon's solution Mobility Insights to analyse the mobility between Galicia and the north of Portugal.
Within the framework of the BD4PT project, Nommon drove the development of WiseTransit descriptive analytics module, a software platform employing data fusion techniques to provide accurate, reliable, and continuously updated information on public transport demand to transport authorities and operators.
Using Nommon's WisePax solution, we analysed 2022 mobility patterns between two Spanish cities, forecasting demand for a new air route. The study demonstrated WisePax's capabilities in long-distance and door-to-door journey analysis, passenger characterisation, and accurate demand forecasting.
The World Bank combined Nommon's Mobility Insights and Transit Insights solutions to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the pandemic affected mobility patterns in different cities in Latin America, with particular focus on public transport demand.
As part of the AI4Cities programme, Nommon and Populus teamed up with the city of Stavanger to develop and implement an AI-driven solution that enables cities to predict shared mobility demand, the modal shift from private cars, and the corresponding CO2 savings, in order to support the design of sustainable mobility policies.
